Jim McGeachin
President
Jimmy’s dad started Western Transmission in 1970 & shortly after, Idaho Transmission was born. Jimmy grew up in the family business & after graduation, attended the University of Idaho. After college, Jimmy returned home & has played many important roles in the current success of the company. High Torque opened in 1990. When his father retired in 1991, Jimmy bought the business from his father. Jimmy has a sincere concern for all of his employees & customers alike & feels a personal sense to take the best interest of everyone into consideration. His easy going attitude & his integrity has contributed to the long term success of Western Transmission, Idaho Transmission & High Torque. In his free time, you will catch Jimmy on the slopes in Sun Valley. He also enjoys golfing, sailing, & foreign travel.
Janice McGeachin
Vice President
Janice graduated with a BS, Business Administration/Finance/Accounting, degree from the University of Arizona in 1985. After graduation, Janice returned home and married her high school sweetheart & has been a vital part of the business since. Janice took a short hiatus from the company when she was elected to the Idaho House of Representatives in 2002 and served until 2012. Janice is very active in the community & keeps all the checks & balances within the company. She also skis, sails, & travels with her family.
Rebecca Peirsol
Manager
Rebecca started working for ITW in 1989, shortly after graduating from high school. Over the last 25 years, she has worked the parts counter & in 2005, became sales manager for Idaho Falls. Her motto is “The Buck Stops Here” & practices it in every element of her life. Rebecca has been given the nickname “Grizz” by her co-workers because of the way she holds her own in a man’s world. Rebecca’s experience in the industry gives her an edge to find almost any part you can imagine. She also handles all the seminars & keeps up to date on the latest products & technical information. In her free time, Rebecca’s love of history takes her traveling to ghost towns & historical sites across the US & Canada.
Jeff Brough
Purchasing Manager
Jeff has been with Idaho Transmission since 1984. Prior to that, he worked for Robison’s Auto Parts for 6 years & Bearing Sales for less than a year. In 1989, Jeff assumed the role of Purchasing Agent. He controls all purchasing for Idaho Falls & Boise locations. In his free time, Jeff enjoys the outdoors & photography.
Ryan Russell
Outside Sales
Ryan has been in the automotive industry most of his career. He was working for several different area shops over the years as a mechanic. In 2004, Ryan decided to put his tools away & join the parts side of the industry. His background in the automotive field gives him an advantage to help customers find what they need. He now is our outside sales representative and makes sure to keep the customer happy.
Gumaro Rodriguez
Parts Specialist
Gumaro started at Idaho Transmission in 2004 & was in shipping & receiving until being promoted to the parts counter in 2006. Gumaro has extensive knowledge in the field and is one of the most efficient parts specialist around.
James McGeachin
Parts Specialist
James, like his father, grew up in the family business working various jobs. He then Attended the University of Idaho to obtain his BS Business Finance degree. After completing his schooling in Moscow he returned home to continue working for Idaho Transmission. He plans to follow is his grandfather and father’s footsteps and continue the success of the business.
Michelle Squires
Controller
Michelle has been with ITW for 10 years and does all the AR & AP for Idaho Transmission. She enjoys camping and spends many hours volunteering for the community.
Tracy Pena
Parts Specialist
Tracy has been with ITW since 2011 and has developed into an excellent parts counterman. His desire to help anyone and do whatever it takes has gotten him where he is today. Tracy is a great asset to our team.
Roy Sievers
Parts Runner
Roy has been a faithful employee with Idaho Transmission for a little over 2 years.
Boise
Mike Bell
Manager
Mike has been with ITW since 1989. He has managed the Boise location for the past 24 years. He takes pride in the motto “The customer always comes first.”
Mark Johnson
Assistant Manager
Mark has been in the transmission industry for 30 years. He is regarded as one of the finest countermen in the area. One of Mark’s best attributes is his continual pursuit to stay educated on the latest industry changes. Mark specializes in finding old parts and keeps up to date on this changing industry. Mark’s interests are camping & motorcycle repair.
Dustin Jacobsen
Parts Specialist
Dustin joined the ITW team in August of 2011. He was first introduced to the ins and outs of vehicles when he was at the Airport Chevron service station where he did the top end of the oil changes. He picked up a little bit of knowledge on transmissions, and how they were serviced. He enjoys working with ITW and has continually been learning about what makes a transmission tick. He is thrilled to be a part of the ITW staff.
